Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 28, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies SignalScan uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. They can be required for core features or used for optional purposes such as analytics.

2. Cookie Categories We Use

  • Necessary cookies: required for authentication, security, and core service functionality. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Analytics cookies: used only with consent to understand website usage and improve product performance.
  • Marketing cookies: reserved for advertising and campaign attribution. These are disabled by default and currently not active on SignalScan.

3. Legal Basis

Where required by law (including the EEA/UK), optional cookies are used only after prior consent. In other jurisdictions, we apply applicable opt-in or opt-out requirements based on local law.

4. Current Optional Technologies

  • Google Analytics (production only): loaded only when analytics consent is granted. Configuration uses IP anonymization and disables ad personalization signals.
  • No marketing trackers are currently active by default on SignalScan.

5. How To Manage Cookies

  • Use the cookie banner when you first visit the site.
  • Use the "Cookie settings" button in the footer at any time to change or withdraw consent.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, but it stops optional cookies going forward.

6. Consent Retention

We store your cookie preferences for up to 180 days, after which we may ask for consent again. We may ask sooner if laws, technologies, or processing purposes materially change.

7. Third-Party Cookies

Some integrations (such as payment providers) may set their own cookies when you interact with their services. Those cookies are governed by the relevant third party's policies.
